Laura Rahill
My name is Laura and I am the proud creator of the Cuimhne Candles which was established in March of 2021.
The very first Cuimhne Candle was a gift to my brother in the states who was graduating from college. Due to the pandemic we could not travel to the US to celebrate together as a family, so I figured that by creating a County Louth candle, I could try and bring a piece of home to him. After receiving his gift, my brother insisted that I make more county candles, and the rest is history really. With a science degree under my belt, I have a deep appreciation for the science behind candle making and I have enjoyed every second spent experimenting with different fragrances, wax and wicks to create clean burning, highly scented candles.
Cuimhne Candles are now stocked in over 40 stores nationwide, and even overseas in the UK and US.
Míle buíochas for all of your support.
